Since September 2025: I have been working as an English teacher for small groups of children aged 5 to 12. I also teach younger children aged 3 to 4, particularly during school holidays in holiday camps. I lead dynamic and interactive lessons, incorporating songs, dance, and creative activities to encourage language learning in a fun and engaging way. I also include age-appropriate reading sessions to help develop their comprehension and speaking confidence. Through this experience, I have developed strong skills in managing groups of children, staying organized, and remaining calm in all situations.
Between January 2022 and 2025: I cared for a young girl from the age of 2 for three years, and then for her younger brother from birth. I looked after her regularly, including weekends, organizing a variety of activities such as horse riding, swimming, skiing, dancing, and tree climbing (accrobranche). I was also responsible for meals, evening routines, and school preparation. From the birth of her brother, I supported the parents with daily care (bottles, diaper changes, sleep routines) and medical appointments, often taking care of both children at the same time. This experience included extensive travel, staying in high-quality establishments around the world, particularly in Europe, Africa, and the United States.
Between July 2024 and September 2025: I occasionally babysat a one-and-a-half-year-old (1.5 years old) boy in the evenings. I supported his bedtime routine, including bath time, diaper changes, dinner, and story time, to help him fall asleep gently. I was also responsible for putting him to bed and comforting him to ensure he settled peacefully. I sometimes looked after him in the afternoons as well, taking care of his daily needs during longer babysitting sessions.
In July 2020: I moved to France and began working for a French family as an au pair for a 9-year-old girl and 11-year-old twins. I picked them up from school, accompanied them to extracurricular activities, helped with homework, and organized outdoor games. I also took care of their evening routine and bedtime. This experience allowed me to discover French culture and learn the language on a daily basis. It also helped me better understand and manage pre-teens, as well as their needs and energy.
In 2018 and 2019: I worked at my former high school as a coach for basketball, football (soccer), and volleyball. I supervised groups of around 20 students aged 11 to 14, accompanying them to various schools to take part in inter-school sports competitions. This experience helped me develop my interest in teaching and coaching, as well as sharing a love for sports and outdoor physical activity. It also taught me how to supervise groups of children, manage group dynamics, and ensure their safety and well-being in a structured environment.
