I looked after two little girls of 4 and 2 years old during my summer vacation in Berlin. I picked them up at the end of the kita (daycare/school). On the way back we sometimes had a snack and often played in the park. Back home I gave them a bath and we continued playing until the parents returned.

The parents of a child I regularly look after got married. They contacted me to take care of the 10 children present on the evening of the wedding. With another babysitter we took care of the meal, the bedtime of the youngest, and kept entertained the children all evening long (from 6 pm to 2 am).

I take care of children from 2 to 10 years old on a regular and occasional basis.
I have mainly taken care of Gaspard 7 years old. Generally we meet in the evening, I control the bath and supervise the homework, we cook together, once we have had dinner we sometimes play depending on the time we have left. Around 8:30 pm, when it’s time for bed, we always take the time to read a story. I stay up until the parents come home, usually between 1 and 2 am.

I looked after Lou and Galla from Monday to Friday for a year. When I arrived they were five years and five months old respectively. In the mornings I dropped Lou off at the Kita by bike or by subway, depending on the weather. Back home I would spend the day with Galla, we would go to the park for a walk or stay home to play. Around 3:00 pm we would return to pick up Lou at the Kita and accompany her to her activities. When the weather allowed it, we would go to the park to see the animals, to the playground… Often, we would go grocery shopping. Back home I would prepare dinner and we would eat with the parents, although it often happened that we eat just the three of us. When dinner was over, I would put Gala to sleep and then took care of Lou’s bedtime. Sometimes we went on vacation with the family to the ski resort where I continued to take care of the girls.
