March 2025 to June 2026 : for over a year, I looked after a boy and a girl aged 4 and 7 (preschool and elementary). I truly enjoyed working with this brother-and-sister duo: witnessing their bond, mutual connection, and natural balance was a genuine highlight of my daily routine. Their dynamic allowed me to introduce engaging group activities, such as cooperative board games, which fostered teamwork, sharing, and mutual support while ensuring each child received age-appropriate individual attention. I managed school pick-ups and walking commutes with strict adherence to road safety. My responsibilities included elementary homework supervision, meal preparation, and complete evening routines (bath time, pajamas, bedtime stories), all within a safe, dynamic, and welcoming environment.

In addition to daily care, looking after them on weekends allowed us to plan longer, more engaging outings and fun activities. We took full advantage of this time to organize enriching day trips: child-friendly museum visits, cultural discoveries, extended park outings, creative workshops, or family events.

September to November 2024 – Volunteer Childcare Mission, Asia (1.5 months) : I designed and led creative, educational, and recreational workshops for groups of children of various ages within an international setting. This experience required rapid adaptability and taught me to overcome language barriers through gentle, expressive, and reassuring non-verbal communication. It significantly enhanced my patience, observation skills, and dedication to ensuring children’s emotional well-being and physical safety at all times.

January 2023 to August 2024 : for over a year and a half, I cared for a child aged 6 to 8 on a daily basis right after school, establishing a structured and nurturing routine for the end of the day. I provided consistent academic support, focusing on reading skills and daily homework help for 1st and 2nd-grade levels (Year 1/Year 2 UK system). Following study time, I prepared balanced, age-appropriate evening meals. To keep the child engaged without screen time, I led educational activities such as logic games, puzzles, arts and crafts, and guided reading sessions, encouraging intellectual curiosity while facilitating a peaceful transition toward bedtime.
