In July 2024: I completed a mission at the Maison de la Petite Enfance (Early Childhood Center) in Nantes. I was in charge of overall hygiene and keeping the facility clean for the well-being and safety of the children. This experience allowed me to work in a team, strictly follow procedures, and take initiatives in agreement with the management, while teaching and enforcing daily rules with the youngest children.
From January to March 2026: I did regular early morning babysitting for two children aged 5 and 9. I was entirely responsible for getting them ready when they woke up, managing breakfast, and walking them to school safely.
Occasionally: I look after two other children of the same age (5 and 9) in the afternoon and evening. I pick them up from the recreation center and help them with their learning using holiday activity books. I organize arts and crafts activities as well as games. I also take care of preparing their dinner and handling the bedtime routine.
For many years: Coming from a large family on my father’s side and being the eldest sibling (with a younger sister and brother), I developed a strong sense of responsibility and a natural habit of growing up around children. I regularly babysit my young cousins and volunteer to help my aunt, who is a registered childminder, with toddlers. By her side, I gained solid practical experience in changing diapers, giving meals, and putting infants to bed.
As the eldest child in a blended family, I had the opportunity and advantage of growing up in a dynamic family environment. In addition, my large family circle pushed me to adapt to every age group. Thus, these family responsibilities allowed me to become a particularly reliable, attentive, and trustworthy person with children.
