In 2025, as part of a university exchange year in Melbourne, Australia, I worked as an au pair for a French-Australian family, caring for a 6-year-old girl with whom I communicated in both French and English. My responsibilities included school runs, meal preparation, daily routines and walking the dog. Every weekend, we spent an afternoon doing an activity together: swimming, the zoo, cultural exhibitions, playgrounds, arts and crafts… we made sure to mix things up!
I also have experience in event planning, having served as Head of Events for my campus’s Student Union for 2 years: I love imagining, creating and organising activities where both children and adults can have fun!
Between September 2023 and June 2024, during the first two years of my Bachelor’s degree, I supported children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 living in residential care, helping to organise a range of activities: homework support, group games and weekend outings.
Between September 2020 and June 2023, I did various one-off babysitting jobs throughout secondary school. In particular, I looked after my neighbours’ three children, aged 8, 11 and 12, in the evenings. I was responsible for the evening routine (cooking dinner, teeth-brushing, shower time) as well as calm bedtime activities such as drawing, games and reading.
From September 2020 to May 2021, twice a week, I picked up a 10-year-old boy from school to help him with his schoolwork and music homework, before playing together until his parents came home.
Originally from Sète, in the south of France, I am the eldest of three siblings. I grew up surrounded by my cousins in a lively family environment, with trips to the seaside, mountain hikes and family gatherings full of group games and arts and crafts. I love dancing, running, photography and cooking, and I’m delighted to dedicate my time and energy to activities with children!
