From September 2020 to June 2020: I began my childcare experience by looking after my 3-year-old neighbour. I provided after-school care, prepared her snack, and kept her entertained with drawing and painting. I also gave her baths and prepared her dinner.
In 2021: I started babysitting at a 4-star hotel, mainly in the evenings. I had the opportunity to look after many children of all ages. I engaged them in play, served dinner, and prepared them for bedtime, always following the parents’ instructions. I also hosted numerous children’s evening events, supervising groups of children aged 5 to 12 with arts and crafts, board games, and musical activities, followed by dinner and a quiet wind-down time.
Since October 2023: I have been working at a 5-star hotel, where I spent the first year exclusively babysitting, carefully following parents’ requests. I introduced children to the hotel’s activities, such as rowing boats, drawing, and various games at the kids’ club. I also managed dinner and bedtime supervision for children ranging from 1 month to 13 years old. Since 2024, I have also been working as a kids’ club entertainer, offering a wide range of activities for children aged 5 to 12 throughout the day, including treasure hunts, cooking workshops, sports activities, and arts and crafts.
Since 2024: I regularly look after a 4-year-old girl after school. I often take her to the park, and we frequently do a baking activity for her afternoon snack. I also keep her entertained with games and reading before dinner, which we have together before her parents return. In addition, I have several contacts in my town that allow me to take on many occasional babysitting jobs, ranging from babies a few months old to children aged 7.
As the eldest of three children, I grew up helping to care for my younger sisters, which gave me an early familiarity with looking after young children.
