Since september 2025 : I am taking care of a young girl of 9 years old. I look after her minimum once per month at night. I am making sure, if the parents are asking, her homeworks are done correctly. I try to the maximum to limit screens so I never hesitate to initiate or to propose to play a board game adpated to her age. I feed her and put her to sleep at the time imposed by the parents.
During my exchange year in the United States (2023-2024) : I used to sometimes look after the two boys of my host family’s friends at night when the two couples wanted to have a moment between adults. The language wasn’t a boarder or a limit, on the contrary the bond between them and I was from the first time strong.
From september 2022 to june 2023 : I took care of a baby of 10 months and his sister of 3 years old every Wednesdays afternoon. I was making sure both of them were safe when one of the children would need/ ask for more attention. I changed diapers and fed them snacks at 4pm. We would play hide and seak and I was holding the baby if he wasn’t sleeping. The activity they loved a lot was reading books.
Since march 2020 : My cousin was born and my love for babies/ children appeared. During familly lunch I was like his baby sitter, I changed diapers, I gave him bottles and played with him. Today he is 6 and as soon as I see him we play board games together.
I am the oldest of a family of three children. I have a very strong bond with my little brother and I used to read him books when I was 5 and he was 1. I did an exchange year in the United States from 2023 until 2024 where I learned to be more open minded and where I learned the responsabilities of every thing we do.
